The annual international book fair - Frankfurter Buchmesse


October 10-15, 2017 Frankfurt hosted the annual international book fair - Frankfurter Buchmesse. This largest book fair of the world has existed for almost 500 years. More than 7,000 publishers from different countries and 300,000 visitors visited the fair this year. Among them, as professionals of the book market, and lovers of literature, readers.

On the Russian national stand "READ RUSSIA" is traditionally represented about 800 works from more than 50 publishing houses of Russia. Particular attention this year is given to the anniversary of the revolution, many books are devoted to this topic. Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation VR Medinsky visited the Russian stand, told about his books and creative plans, about the contemporary cultural policy of Russia and the popularity of Russian literature abroad.

This year, trends in the development of modern technologies in working with content are becoming more noticeable. More and more convenient are IT solutions for creating content, storing it, protecting it and further working with it. Interesting solutions are offered by developers from Germany, England, Holland. Every year more and more efficient and successful of the set of proposed solutions crystallize.

At the same time, the standards of work with different types of copyrights are developing, the foundations of international work models are being developed, most universal and suitable for many countries, taking into account the peculiarities of legislation, mentality, variety of content types, genres, language segments.

We are happy to participate in these processes, to be able to find and present to users of the LIT platform the best and most advanced of the world's technologies and the world's experience.

During the fair this year, agreements were reached on placing the content of the LIT platform in China, Brazil and a number of other countries.
